Today's links are a little different: we have two spectacular giveaways coming up, so I wanted you to be able get familiar with the books we will be giving away.
In video below, Nancy Guthrie talks about what it was like to experience the death of two children just a couple of years apart. Out of this grief, she has shared her wisdom and understanding of hope and comfort. One of her newest books is What Grieving People Wish You Knew about What Really Helps (and What Really Hurts); Crossway Publishers has given us three copies to giveaway. I encourage you to watch this video and learn about Nancy's story and why her book is so effective.
My friend and mentor, Marcia Carole Gladwish, is a fine artist who uses art and story to minister to women all around the world by teaching them about the God who not only sees them and knows them, but who loves them. Marcia does this through various art methods, but she always uses the gospel as the context for the women's stories, providing her own art as a way to communicate to various cultures. And she has actually published her illustrations for one of the gospel stories she uses, The Woman at the Well! I could NOT be more excited about this! Marcia has graciously agreed to a giveaway for a hardback, signed copy of her beautiful book, The Drink of a Lifetime.
Details for both of these giveaways to come, but in the meantime, please feel free to familiarize yourself with both books. Hooray!
